Parking in Downtown Los Gatos and the Olive Zone can be limited at peak times. To support local businesses, the Town offers employee parking permits that provide access to designated parking areas and parking beyond posted time limits.

Eligible business owners and employees can apply for or renew a permit online.
Where Employee Permits Are Valid
- Downtown Employee Permits: Valid in designated employee spaces across multiple municipal lots. A valid permit is required during posted hours.
- Olive Zone Employee Permits: Allow parking beyond posted time limits within the Olive Zone. Note: these permits are not valid in the passenger loading zones on East Main Street in front of Los Gatos High School from 7–9 AM and 2–4 PM on school days.
Eligible Business Locations
- Downtown Employees: All businesses located in the Downtown district
- Olive Zone Employees: Businesses along the East Main Street corridor — including Church Street, College Avenue, and Villa Avenue (east of Highway 17 and west of Loma Alta Avenue)
