Zoning and Development Standards
All properties within the Town of Los Gatos are subject to development standards found within the Los Gatos Town Code, the Town of Los Gatos General Plan, and other related planning documents including design guidelines. Below Market Price (BMP) Housing Program
The Town’s BMP Ordinance was established in 1979. The Town’s BMP program is operated in accordance with the Town’s Below Market Price Program Guidelines where the pricing methodology and resale restrictions are located.

Development Fee Schedule
The Town’s Comprehensive Fee Schedule, including current application/permit fees, Transportation Impact Fees, Environmental Impact Fees, Park Fees, and Business License Fees, may be found on the Town’s Finance webpage.
Fees charged by West Valley Sanitation District (a dependent special district, as defined by Section 56032.5 of the Government Code) may be found on this webpage.
Contact the applicable school district based on the project address to determine development impact fees. School districts located within the Town of Los Gatos include: Los Gatos School District, Union School District, Campbell Union High District, and Cambrian School District.
