NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
DATE: TUESDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2018

LOCATION: COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 110 EAST MAIN STREET


General Plan Update - The Town is beginning the update of the General Plan and invites the public to participate in the process. The Town’s General Plan acts as the constitution for development, the foundation upon which all land use decisions are to be based. This meeting is being held to provide an opportunity for the public and the General Plan Update Advisory Committee to discuss the General Plan update, and key issues and opportunities. Information concerning the General Plan update is on file in the Community Development Department at 110 E. Main Street, and available for public inspection during regular public counter hours 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; and the Town Library, 100 Villa Avenue, during regular business hours.

The agenda and report for the General Plan Update Advisory Committee meeting will be available for public review on the Friday prior to the meeting in the Community Development Department from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Town Clerk’s Office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the Town Library, during regular business hours; and on the Town’s website at www.losgatosca.gov.

All persons interested in the General Plan update are encouraged to appear at the public meeting and be heard. Deadline for all written correspondence is 11:00 a.m. the day of the meeting.

1) 11 Peralta Avenue – Minor Residential Development Application MR-18-008. Requesting approval for construction of an addition to an existing second story of a pre-1941 single-family residence on property zoned R-1:8. APN 510-42-073. PROPERTY OWNER: Wendy Fan Kandasamy

2) 14320 Arnerich Road – Architecture and Site Application S-18-010 and Conditional Use Permit U-18-007. Requesting approval for demolition of an existing single-family residence, construction of a new single-family residence, removal of large protected trees, and approval of a Conditional Use Permit for agricultural farming activities greater than 3,000 square feet on property zoned HR-20. APN 537-11-034. PROPERTY OWNER: Philip and Shoshana Ohriner. APPLICANT: Gary Kohlsaat. PROJECT PLANNER: Jocelyn Shoopman.

Information concerning the above application is on file in the Community Development Department at 110 E. Main Street, and available for public inspection during regular public counter hours 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; and the Town Library, 100 Villa Avenue, during regular business hours.

The staff report to the Planning Commission will be available for public review three days prior to the meeting in the Community Development Department from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Town Clerk’s Office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the Town Library, during regular business hours; and on the Town’s website at www.losgatosca.gov.

All persons interested in said application are encouraged to appear at the public hearing and be heard. If anyone wishes to challenge the action on the above applications in court, they may be limited to raising only those issues they or anyone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing. Deadline for all written correspondence is 11:00 a.m. the day of the meeting.
