General Information
The Conceptual Development Advisory Committee consists of 5 members:
- Three members of the Planning Commission
- Two members of the Town Council
A majority of the Conceptual Development Advisory Committee constitutes a quorum for the purpose of transacting the business of the Committee. The committee elects a chair and vice-chair, both of whom serve at the pleasure of the committee. Terms of office are for 1 year and begin on February 1 and continue through January 31 of the following year.
Meetings
The Conceptual Development Advisory Committee holds regular meetings at least once a month if any applications are received. Meetings occur the 2
nd Wednesday of each month at 4:00 pm in the Town Council Chambers.
Powers and Duties
The duties of the Conceptual Development Advisory Committee include advising a prospective applicant of whether the proposed project is consistent with Town policy prior to initiating an expensive and time consuming development review process; and identifying and listing problems with the proposal that need to be addressed in the review process. The Committee does not review projects for which any permit application has been submitted to the Planning or Building Divisions.
Applications Deadline
Submittal deadlines are three (3) weeks prior to the meeting by 1 p.m.
