The Community Service Officer Intern position is perfect for those still attending college and looking for something that works around your school schedule and offers a wide variety of experiences under the law enforcement umbrella.
The Police Officer Trainee position is a non-sworn position for individuals who have not yet attended a police academy. If selected, the Town will compensate you at an hourly rate while you attend the Police Academy as a Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department-sponsored trainee.
The Police Officer Pre-Service position is a sworn position for those who have completed the POST Basic Academy, but have not yet complete Field Training and/or Probation with another law enforcement agency.
The Police Officer Lateral position is for those that are currently working, in good standing, as a full time Police Officer with another agency.
