Construction Update – Street Repair and Resurfacing/Winchester Class IV Bikeway

For the Annual Street Repair and Resurfacing Project, all the rubber cape seal and slurry seal work for the year was completed on Monday, October 12.

Work items remaining are permanent striping and raising/adjusting of utilities to grade.  Temporary pavement markings were installed until the permanent thermoplastic striping can be installed after seven days of the resurfacing work.

Community Drive-Thru Emergency Preparedness Drill - November 3, 2021

Construction on Los Gatos Blvd (Between Lark Ave & Walker St) Through November

The North 40 development continues with the ongoing construction of off-site public improvements on both Los Gatos Boulevard and Lark Avenue, along with the associated construction of the residential units and Market Hall parking garage.

As of July 26th, construction of the center median on Los Gatos Boulevard between Lark Avenue and Walker Street has commenced.  

The work is expected to continue through the month of November.

New California legislation (SB 1383) mandates that we lower our total methane emissions by reducing the amount of food waste we send to landfill. The Town is doing its part to protect the environment by implementing a new food scraps recycling program.
