is Now Available Online 

Planning Commission meetings are held regularly on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are held in the Town Council Chambers located at 110 E. Main Street. Commission meetings are broadcast live on KCAT-15. Live and archived videos are also available online.

To provide input on any Planning Commission agenda item, members of the public may submit comments on agenda items via email, postal mail or hand-delivered prior to the Planning Commission meeting at which the item will be considered.  To ensure adequate time to prepare Planning Commission packets and adequate time for the Planning Commissioners to review public comments prior to the meeting, the following policy has been adopted:

  • For inclusion in the regular packet provided to Planning Commission Friday evening, public comments must be received by 11:00 a.m. Friday before the Planning Commision meeting.
  • For inclusion in any Addendum provided to Planning Commission, public comments must be received by 11:00 a.m. Tuesday before the Planning Commision meeting.
  • For inclusion in any Desk Item provided to Planning Commission on the day of the meeting, public comments must be received by 11:00 a.m. on the day of the Planning Commission meeting.

Notice of Election
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a General Municipal Election will be held in the Town of Los Gatos on Tuesday, November 8, 2016

At the time and place set forth above the election will be held for the following officers:
  • Two (2) Members of the Town Council
  • Full Term of Four (4) Years
Period for filing nomination papers: July 18, 2016 to 5:00 p.m. August 12, 2016. If any eligible incumbent does not file for re-election the extended nomination period runs until 5:00 p.m. August 17, 2016, for new candidates only.If no one or only one person is nominated for each office the Council may appoint someone to the office.
The Polls will be open between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

LED Streetlight Project

The Town-wide LED streetlight conversion project, originally scheduled to begin on Monday July 18, 2016, has been delayed.  Just prior to the scheduled start of the project, the Town received information from PG&E which may have a bearing on the project as currently designed.  The Town is evaluating this information to determine what impact, if any, it might have on the project.  Depending on the outcome of this evaluation, a revised project scope may be recommended.
A new schedule along with any recommended changes to the project scope will be provided as soon as it is available via Nextdoor, Facebook, and the Town website.
