The agenda for the April 19, 2016 Town Council meeting is available online. 

Town Council meetings are held regularly on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are held in the Town Council Chambers located at 110 E. Main Street. Council meetings are broadcast live on KCAT-15. Live and archived videos are also available online.

North 40 Phase 1-Story Pole Exception Request Continued to April 19th Town Council

After listening to public testimony, the Council continued its consideration of a proposed modification to a story pole exception for the North 40 Phase 1 due to existing active uses (both commercial and residential). Staff report can be found at:
On April 5, 2016, the Town Council heard public testimony regarding a proposed modification of an approved story pole exception. The Town Council requested additional information and continued the deliberations on the exception until April 19, 2016. 
The public is encouraged to submit any comments via email to or by mail to 110 East Main Street Los Gatos, CA 95030 by 11a.m. on April 19, 2016; no public testimony will be taken on April 19th.

The Town encourages the community to view the story poles from the public right-of-way on Lark Avenue and Los Gatos Boulevard because this is private property. 16212 Los Gatos Boulevard (Il Vicinato)-Town Council Public Hearing on April 19, 2016 at 7:00 P.M.

The Town Council will be considering the proposed Planned Development application for 16212 Los Gatos Boulevard on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers at 110 E. Main Street.

The Planning Commission considered the proposed application and took public testimony on February 24, 2016. The Commission forwarded a recommendation of denial to the Town Council. The Town Council agenda and staff reports are available here.

Public comments received by the Planning Commission are included in the Town Council report along with any additional comments received since the Planning Commission meeting. Additional public comments received prior to 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 will be provided to the Town Council. Celebrate Spring into Green with the Town of Los Gatos!
Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

On Sunday April 24th from 10:00 am-1:00 pm the Town will be hosting Spring into Green, a sustainability event to celebrate Earth Day, Arbor Day, and Keep Los Gatos Beautiful Month at the Town Plaza.
Environmental vendors and partners from the local community will host interactive booths, including:
  • West Valley Clean Water Program
  • West Valley Collection & Recycling
  • Santa Clara Valley Water District, Parks Commission
  • Happy Hollow Park & Zoo
  • Santa Clara County Parks
  • Beautification Committee
  • PG&E Vegetation Program
  • Lick Observatory, and more!
This is a family friendly event, with free interactive activities for all ages including face painting, a photo booth, a rock climbing wall, and a live band. The event will take place in conjunction with the Town’s weekly Farmer’s Market to promote eating & buying locally. The purpose of this event is to celebrate the Town’s environmental consciousness, learn about sustainability, and collect feedback from residents regarding green issues in Town. See you there!
