Appeal of a Planning Commission Decision - Town Council Meeting on October 20, 2020

The Town Council will hold a public hearing to consider an appeal of a Planning Commission decision denying a request to remove underground parking for construction of a commercial building (Market Hall) in the North 40 Specific Plan Area (S-20-012).

The Planning Commission considered the request for a modification to an existing Architecture and Site Application (S-13-090) to remove underground parking for construction of a commercial building (Market Hall) in the North 40 Specific Plan Area (S-20-012) located at 14225 Walker Street at their meetings of August 26, 2020, September 9, 2020, September 23, 2020, and September 28, 2020.  On Wednesday, September 28, 2020, the Planning Commission denied the application. The decision of the Planning Commission was appealed by the applicant on October 1, 2020.

On Tuesday, October 20, 2020, the Town Council will consider the appeal of a Planning Commission decision denying  Architecture and Site application S-20-012. The Planning Commission staff report and video are available on the Town website.

Written comments received before 11:00 a.m., Tuesday October 20, 2020, will be forwarded to the Town Council.  The public is also encouraged to attend the October 20, 2020 Town Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. via teleconference to provide comments.

Meeting agendas are posted and publicly distributed no later than the Thursday prior to each meeting date.  You may view the agenda, related staff reports, and teleconference details on the Town website.

The community is welcome to submit written comments to Jocelyn Shoopman at JShoopman@losgatosca.gov for inclusion in the Town Council Staff Report/Addendum/Desk Item.  Deadline for all written correspondence is 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
