At the October 2, 2018 Town Council meeting, Council directed
staff to refer the short-term rental item to the Policy Committee for
further discussion. The Town seeks community input on this issue.Short-term rental is the practice of renting out a portion of, or an entire home, to a person or group of people for period of less than 30 nights. In recent years, there has been exponential growth through "sharing economy" websites such as Airbnb and VRBO.Community members can share their input on whether to continue the ban of short-term rentals in Los Gatos or to allow and regulate them, at the Policy Committee meeting on October 18, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. in Town Council Chambers located at 110 E Main Street.
