Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department will continue to provide essential public safety services to the community on a 24/7 basis. Patrol Officers will continue to triage priority calls for service and respond as necessary. To limit person-to-person exposure, the reporting of low-level offenses with no suspect information may be handled through telephone reports and the Department’s online reporting system.

Records Division will be accepting vehicle releases and property/evidence release by appointment only. Until further notice, appointments for Live Scan, parking appeals, and citation sign-offs will not be available. All other service requests will be postponed until after the Santa Clara County Department of Public Health determines it is safe to resume non-essential operations.

Dispatch will still be answering all calls for service, but communications staff will be directing the community to utilize online reporting if appropriate. The online reporting option and additional resources can be found on the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department website. If you have additional questions or concerns, please email police@losgatosca.gov. This email will be checked daily during normal business hours. In emergency situations, always call 9-1-1. The LGMSPD non-emergency number is 408-354-8600.
