Downloading and using electronic library books is an easy process. Depending on the device you use, you can either download directly to your device, or read a book from your desktop computer, or laptop. Although these books are digital, they are still only available to be checked out and downloaded one person at a time. You do have the option of placing a request and you will be notified by e-mail when the item is ready for you to download, just like you would placing a request for a print copy of a book in the library. For eBooks, you will have 3 days after you have been notified to download your books before the item is released to the next person in the queue.
Most current electronic devices are compatible with our Electronic Resources. Many can be downloaded as an App- allowing you to read, watch, or listen without connecting to the internet.
Below are a number of user's guides for downloading and/or accessing our eBook, Audio Book, Music, and Movie E-Collections.
