Animal Control Services

As of July 1, 2024, the Town of Los Gatos animal services provider is Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority (SVACA). Services for residents include:

  • Field response to animal related service calls
  • Care of sick, injured, lost, or abandoned companion animals
  • Animal cruelty investigations
  • Dog and Cat pet licensing
  • Education & outreach
  • Volunteer & foster programs
  • And more! 

To report animal related incidents in Los Gatos, community members may contact SVACA at (408) 764-0344 during business hours and Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department after hours at (408) 354-8600 or during an emergency by dialing 911.
