Second Chance Day is a grassroots public awareness campaign held each fall to promote reuse, repair and donation opportunities throughout our community.  You can do your part by donating items during the Town’s Second Chance donation drive.  Donation items accepted include the following for adults and children:

<         Sweaters and sweatshirts

<         Ladies professional/work attire

<        Scarves                                                                           
<         Jackets, coats, raincoats and wind breakers

<         Jeans and sweatpants

<         Blankets

<         Towels

<         Toiletries (new only)

<         Prescription eyeglasses

<         Non-prescription UV-protected sunglasses

Please donate only those items listed above that are clean and in good condition.  Your donations will be given to St. Luke’s Pantry Program, EHC Lifebuilders, InnVision, Career Closet, Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence and the Human Society.  These are local agencies that provide shelter and related services.  Donated eyeglasses will go to the Los Gatos Lions Club’s “Lions in Sight” program, which donates refurbished glasses to people in third world countries.
