Transportation and Parking Commission
The Transportation and Parking Commission reviews and recommends actions to Council related to traffic calming, bikeways, parking, and local traffic issues. The Commission consists of seven members that are appointed for three-year terms. Town residency is required for appointment. One Commissioner is appointed to the Bicycle Advisory Committee.
All Transportation and Parking Commission meetings are open to the public. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of every other month, on even months (i.e. February, April, June, August, etc). The meetings convene at the Parks & Public Works Department Conference Room located at 41 Miles Avenue. Commission meetings begin at 7:30 am. Pursuant to the Brown Act, "Regular meetings" are meeting occuring at the dates, times, and location set by resolution, ordinance, or other formal action by the legislative body and are subject to 72-hour posting requirements.
