–Images of America: Los Gatos
by Los Gatos Library Director Peggy Conaway, with an introduction by
State Librarian Emeritus Dr. Kevin Starr, an eminent California
historian, is available for purchase. The book contains 227 vintage
photographs of the Los Gatos area, taken during the years 1860 - 1960.
Royalties from the publication benefit "Hooked on Los Gatos - the
Library/Museum History Project."
The publication is available
at the Library, the Museums, Los Gatos Borders Book Store, Testarossa
Vineyards, and Barnes and Noble Bookshop. It is also available through
online book services.

Our project's goal is to digitize and index
photographs, microfilm and news clippings depicting Los Gatos' rich
history making it possible for researchers, students, or the curious to
explore local history at the library, at school, or at home.
