Special Meeting of the General Plan Committee regarding the North 40 Specific Plan on November 17, 2016

The General Plan Committee began its discussion of the Town Council’s suggestions for potential changes to the adopted North 40 Specific Plan on October 27, 2016.  The agenda and staff report for the October 27, 2016 meeting are available here.  If you are interested in viewing the video of the October 27 GPC meeting, please visit here

The suggestions were identified at a Special Meeting of the Town Council on September 27, 2016.  The General Plan Committee is holding its second meeting to continue its discussion and recommendations regarding the Council’s suggestions on November 17, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers.  The GPC recommendations will become the basis for detailed amendments to the Specific Plan for consideration during public hearings before the Planning Commission and Town Council.  The potential amendments are intended to be specific, require no additional environmental analysis, and require no modifications to the Town’s certified Housing Element of the General Plan.  The intention is not a rewrite of the entire Plan.

The community is welcome to submit comments in writing to Sally Zarnowitz at szarnowitz@losgatosca.gov or Joel Paulson at jpaulson@losgatosca.gov for inclusion in the Memorandum/Addendum/Desk Item to the General Plan Committee.  Deadline for all written correspondence is 11:00 a.m. the day of the meeting.
