Summer is here and so is the heat!

Summer is upon us and with it our first real heat wave of the season. The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Watch for Friday through Sunday across the Bay Area and California.

While we enjoy all that our beautiful Town has to offer this weekend, please remember some of the following hot weather precautions:

  • Drink more water than usual.
  • Wear a hat and light-colored clothing when you go out.

Police Announce Guilty Pleas by Suspects in the 2015 Gehrkens Robbery

In November 2015, the Los Gatos Monte Sereno Police Department initiated an investigation of a robbery that occurred at Gehrkens Fine Jewelers and Design located at 3 N. Santa Cruz Ave.

Suspect Arrested for Purse Robbery in Parking Lot

On October 30, 2015 at approximately 8:10 p.m., a strong arm robbery occurred in the parking lot of 14127 Capri Dr. The suspect approached the victim as she entered her vehicle, reached into the vehicle, and stole the victim's purse.
